Why can't I climb on the Dam?
There's very little we tell you not to do at our park, but the one thing we do ask is that you KEEP OFF THE DAM RUINS and stay away from the papermill ruins! Climbing on the Dam and getting near the papermill ruins is unsafe! The Dam is over 100 years old, and obviously, it is fragile. It is also a national landmark and a treasure from the past. We're working hard to make sure it's around for another century for people to visit and enjoy. If you climb the Dam ruins or disrespect the Dam or our park in any other way, you will be escorted from the show. Consider this your Dam warning!
Can I camp at the show?
Yes, you can! Camping is included with ticket purchase. You may camp anywhere you can find a spot in our 76-acre park, except for at the base of the Dam, which we keep open for performers to get in and out and for guests to watch the show, or near the papermill ruins. Only tent camping is permitted in the lower field by the stage and in the campsites behind it. There are limited RV and camper spaces in the vista and in the upper campground areas.
Do I have to pay for parking?
No, parking is included in your ticket purchase.
Will food & beverages be available?
Yep, food vendors will be on site all weekend. Alcohol will not be sold at the show, so if you want to drink, BYOB. No glass, please. No underage drinking.
Where does my ticket money go?
Your ticket money helps us fund the Dam Show and promote the Dam Park and other attractions in Potter County - so we can make your experience here even better!
I'm with a band/I know a band/I'm friends with a band. Can I get in free?
Congratulations, you're a pretty big Dam deal. And no you can't. Unless you play in the band, you can pay like everyone else who comes to the show. NO EXCEPTIONS.
What amenities does the park provide?
The Dam Park provides for rustic camping. It is a privately owned park maintained by a small group of volunteers and funded through donations and memberships. Flush toilet restrooms and running water are located behind the pavilion. There are no shower facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Is the Dam Show pet friendly?
Yep, we love animals! Just make sure to keep your pet on a leash and clean up after him/her.
